The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-2 yesterday, but players are still taking some scrutiny from the media for what happened following the regulation horn. In the past, the club has always had a regular tradition of saluting the fans following home wins. Last night though, there was no salute.

Former Leafs coach Ron Wilson comments on Toronto's 9-2 loss to the Nashville Predators: "I just feel bad"

Former Maple Leafs head coach Ron Wilson commented on Toronto's embarrassing 9-2 loss to the Nashville Predators. It was the first time since 1992 that the team gave up nine goals at home since 1992.

“I just feel so bad for Randy, and I actually feel bad for the players, too,” Wilson said. “Every team goes through bad spells. The Leafs are still over .500, and people there are thinking the Titanic is going down. I’ve lived it.” -
