After recently revealing the aftermath of the freak injury he sustained during the Oilers warm-up on Tuesday, Hall will be making a quick return to the line-up tonight when the Oilers host the Flames. During the very scary incident that could have been even worse, Hall slipped on a puck, fell to the ice and was accidentally stepped on by teammate Corey Potter. Hall needed 30 stitches to repair the nasty cut on his forehead.
"I'm going to play tonight; I feel good," said Hall on the Oilers' twitter feed today. "It doesn't hurt. My eye is swollen but I can see."
So far in the Battle of Alberta this season, the Flames are 3-0. Hall-- who is second on the Oilers for goals with 15-- will try and help the Oilers find a way to win their first against their rivals this year.
