After scoring an empty netter in Tampa Bay's 4-2 win over the struggling Philadelphia Flyers, Steven Stamkos became the forth youngest player in NHL history to reach 200 goals. Only Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Dale Hawerchuk managed to reach this feat faster. Today, all three of those players are Hall of Famers.
Not only was this Stamkos' 200th career goal, but it also marked his 21st this season, which leads the NHL. The 1st overall pick from the 2008 NHL draft is definitely a special player. At only 23 years old, the biggest task Stamkos faces in the future is trying to bring home another Stanley Cup for the Bolts.
