Sergei Bobrovsky resigned by Blue Jackets to two-year deal

Posted on July 1, 2013 at 1:25 PM

"The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky to a two-year contract extension. The deal carries an average annual value of $5.625 million. The deal - announced by the club on Monday - helps solidify Columbus' goaltending for the next two years." -

After his impressive 2012-13 NHL campaign in which he had a 21-11-6 record, a . 932 SP% and a GAA of 2.00, Bobrovsky earned himself the Vezina trophy for best goaltender in the league. I think this is a pretty fair deal for both sides.
