Bruins acquire Jaromir Jagr from Stars

Boston Bruins acquire Jaromir Jagr

According to multiple sources the Boston Bruins have a deal in place with the Dallas Stars that would make Jaromir Jagr the newest member of the their club.

TSN’s Bob McKenzie reports the Bruins will send forward Lane MacDermid and prospect Cody Payne to Dallas as well as a conditional second-round pick.

In 34 games this season, Jagr, 41, leads the Stars with 14 goals and 26 points. He has 679 goals and 1,000 assists in 1,380 career games.

The Boston Bruins obviously felt they needed veteran scoring, Jagr has never had a problem putting the puck in the net throughout his career.

This is a team that has started to slow down after a hot start, 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. Acquiring Jagr from the Dallas Stars was a smart pick up for the Bruins.
