The most surprising member of the 2016 All-Star Team didn’t take too long to get a goal. John Scott scored just a minute into the game between the Pacific and Central division after a pass from Brent Burns.
Prior to the game, Pavelski and Burns had told Scott to, “Go to the net. Keep your stick on the ice. We’ll find you.”
That’s exactly what happened.
Scott went on to score another, had a mock fight with Patrick Kane, and even won the MVP as the Pacific Division won the All-Star Game. What a story!
Per Joe Pelletier: John Scott now has more career All-Star Game goals than Sidney Crosby.

John Scott on his 1st person story: “I got sick & tired of reading that I was just a slow-footed goon that was here as a joke.” #NHLAllStar
