Phil Kessel tells Leafs fans to “relax” on Twitter

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Phil Kessel made an oopsie on Twitter yesterday, tweeting, “Night fishing with friends doesn’t get much better”.

23 minutes later, after getting his notifications tab destroyed by Leafs fans, he realized that playoff hockey in Toronto – which did not happen this year – would have actually been better.

He replied by telling Leafs Nation to ‘relax’. He has deleted both Tweets now.

The 26-year-old forward did have the sixth most points in the NHL this season, with 80 tallies in 82 games, so you can’t really put a lot of the blame on him.
